I personally think that the photographer was in the right by not helping the child. The photographer did what he was told to do and stayed away from the child at risk of getting diseases. If I was in the photographer's shoes I would honestly stay away from the child as well. Although it is very disheartening to see the child in such a bad condition, you also must remember that your life is at risk as well. Besides that fact, i do also think the photographer could have helped in another way. Instead of just standing their he could have gotten someone who could have actually helped the child. I do not agree with the statement that “photojournalists are responsible for capturing a story, and not creating, influencing, or altering it?" Photojournalists are supposed to make images look vivid and cool and appeal to the viewers eyes. Although photographers alter pictures, I still think they should keep it original with not too many altercations to truly tell a story from an image.

Hasan Minhaj is truly a great speaker. He made so many great points on the topic of police brutality towards persons of African American descents in his video “the broken police system. One of his points that really stood out to me was “out of twenty-one thousand people, sixteen thousand have arrest warrants. That’s seventy six percent of the population. Out of the seventy six percent, ninety six percent of those people are black. One race can't cause that much misconduct, so it leaves us to assume that there is a problem in our policing system. Statistics state that one in every one-thousand black men will die at the hands of the police. If you ask me, that’s a pretty serious issue. So many innocent black men have died just because of racism. I know it has happened before, but when do you ever hear about white men being shot by the police? It's happened before but it is very rare. Police make horrible choices due to the colour of someone's skin. I think the police system is broken and corrupted, not necessarily all police but quite a few. There has to be a way to turn this racist system around. The lives of so many are being ripped away. Young black man being held down by multiple police men.
